Remember this lantern of many colors?
It's now a solid blue color with a bit of distressing to the bare metal.
This type of item is perfect for Krylon Chalky Finish Spray Paint. I have said it before and it still holds true "I am not a rattle can person"
But this spray paint is awesome. It goes on so smooth and the coverage is fabulous.
Most times when using spray paint it's difficult to get at the hard to reach places.... not with this stuff. I sprayed right into the inside of this lantern and sprayed the outside at the same time. Plus this is only 1 coat, no reason to spray a second time.
They also make a clear spray wax topcoat that you can spray on as well to protect the finish. It's outdoor safe. There may be many items from my garden that get a facelift this spring.
Much prettier in a solid color.
